Nickel-plated aluminum is aluminum with a nickel layer developed independently by Japan Aluminum. It undergoes a nickel plating treatment that is deposited on the aluminum surface under unique conditions, allowing for reduced contact resistance and stable long-term electrical conductivity in aluminum.
